Field Service Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical (South England)

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical background to join a family‑like team covering a Southern UK patch. You will travel to schools, hospitals and other customer sites, providing on‑site service, maintenance and installations while staying away a few nights per week.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical machinery on a door‑to‑door basis.
• Install new equipment and deliver product demonstrations to customers.
• Travel across the South of England using a company van, with flexible hours and occasional overnight stays.
• Document work performed and report any issues to the central team.

Required profile

• Qualified experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, preferably within catering, commercial cleaning or material handling equipment.
• Willingness to work independently on customer sites and stay away from home a few nights each week.
• Commitment to ongoing training and progression to senior engineer roles.
