Field Service Engineer – Entrance Solutions

About the role

Boon Edam is seeking a hands‑on Field Service Engineer to deliver high‑quality service for our entrance solutions across customer sites in London. You will act as the visible ambassador of the brand, working both independently and within a wider service team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance, repairs and installations on entrance systems.
• Attend customer sites promptly and manage workload to meet service schedules and call‑out requirements.
• Provide clear communication to customers, including ETAs and end‑of‑day updates.
• Ensure all work complies with RAMS, health & safety and site‑specific requirements.
• Accurately complete job sheets, reports, timesheets and other documentation using company systems.
• Maintain tools, PPE and service vehicle to professional standards.
• Build positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues.
• Share technical knowledge and support colleagues when required.

Required profile

• Experience in a field‑based service, maintenance or installation role, preferably in a technical or construction environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and confidence working on live customer sites.
• Good knowledge of health & safety requirements in operational settings.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills with a customer‑focused approach.
