Field Service Engineer – High Speed Door Installations

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high‑speed door installations for a growing industrial company. The role involves travelling to client sites across Yorkshire and the wider UK, ensuring installations meet the highest electrical and mechanical standards while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical installation of high‑speed doors on client premises.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements.
• Complete and maintain accurate installation documentation and job records.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings and schematics.
• Provide on‑site troubleshooting and after‑sales support as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant electrical and/or mechanical qualifications.
• Proven hands‑on experience installing equipment in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work away from home for extended periods.
• Clean full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK.

Required skills

• Electrical installation expertise.
• Mechanical installation expertise.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards for industrial installations.

What we offer

• Salary between £33,583 and £40,000 per year.
• 39‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday.
• 7 % non‑contributory company pension.
