Field Service Engineer – Home Based with Overtime

About the role
Join a market‑leading engineering company as a Field Service Engineer, providing on‑site service and maintenance for bespoke electromechanical equipment. The role is home‑based with a local patch covering Gloucester and surrounding areas, offering a blend of field work and office support.
Key responsibilities
- Perform service, maintenance and repairs on a range of electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
- Travel within the assigned patch (Gloucester, Worcester, Hereford, Cirencester, Stratford‑upon‑Avon and nearby locations).
- Document service activities and report any issues to the engineering team.
- Utilise overtime opportunities to maximise earnings while meeting customer deadlines.
Required profile
- Experience in service or maintenance engineering, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel daily to customer sites.
- Motivation to develop technical expertise through specialist training.
Required skills
- Hands‑on service and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
What we offer
- Salary £30,000 – £37,000 per year (OTE up to £50,000 with overtime).
