Field Service Engineer – Hydraulics & Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer with a strong background in hydraulics and mechanical systems to join a well‑structured global company. The role involves travelling across Gloucestershire and surrounding areas to service, repair and optimise a variety of hydraulic equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site service, fault finding and repair of hydraulic systems, pumps, couplings and pipe‑bending equipment.
• Diagnose issues, replace faulty components and ensure equipment returns to full operational status.
• Maintain accurate service records and report findings to the central service team.
• Provide technical advice to customers and support sales or hire activities when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to travel within Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, Hereford, Ross‑on‑Wye and nearby locations.
• Motivated to develop specialist skills through company‑provided training.
