Field Service Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join BSH Home Appliances in Surrey. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of home appliances, delivering high‑quality service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs, modifications and re‑installations of home appliances to achieve first‑time resolution.
• Provide excellent customer service, advising on product use and maintaining strong relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage van stock, tools and equipment, keeping inventory in good condition.
• Participate in training, stay updated on technical information and support colleagues.

Required profile

• Strong electrical, mechanical and engineering knowledge with the ability to diagnose and fix faults.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit to handle and move white‑goods safely.
• Computer literate and holder of a full, UK‑valid driving licence.
