Field Service Engineer - Leeds, Yorkshire, Manchester & Liverpool

About the role

Roche Diagnostics is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for the North Customer Centric Field Support Team in the UK, based in the Yorkshire area (York, Leeds or Barnsley). The role delivers electromechanical hardware support to customers, with field-based assignments and focused customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, carry out preventive maintenance, modifications and installations of electromechanical hardware.
• Keep service offerings running smoothly and maintain uptime across several sites, optimising core service activities.
• Work with colleagues and stakeholders to align sales and service and deliver strong customer solutions.
• Attend customer review meetings to discuss achievements and objectives, as needed.
• Support customers and respond to market demands, while championing technical excellence in systems, processes, data, capability and competence.

Required profile

• Ideally a degree or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or significant experience at HNC/HND level.
• Solid understanding of complex systems and a track record of excellent support.
• Residency in the Yorkshire area (York, Leeds or Barnsley).
• Self-motivated, takes ownership, and enjoys training, coaching and mentoring others.

Required skills

• Electromechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Strong analytical skills, able to interpret technical, scientific and numerical information.
