Field Service Engineer – Material Handling Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer specialised in material handling equipment to join a growing company serving the Slough and M4 corridor. You will work on a localised patch, travelling door‑to‑door to service and repair a range of forklifts and related machinery, with a strong focus on first‑time fixes and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and electronic systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Work closely with customers to minimise equipment downtime.

Required profile

• Experience working on forklift trucks or similar plant equipment.
• Proven ability with mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based around Slough, Maidenhead or north of Reading.
