Field Service Engineer – South East

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer for the South East, based in Biggleswade, to join our client on a permanent full‑time basis. The role involves servicing, inspecting and repairing earth‑moving machinery, ensuring equipment is maintained to manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, inspection and repair of earth‑moving machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and take appropriate corrective action.
• Return warranty and other parts cleaned and on time.
• Accurately file and keep service manuals up to date.
• Work strictly in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
• Collaborate effectively with the support team.
• Develop strong rapport with customers.

Required profile

• Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a related industry.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Previous experience in a similar field service role.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to travel across the UK, Ireland and overseas as required.
