Field Service Engineer – South England

About the role

This is a permanent, full‑time position based in Reading, covering customer sites across the South of England. You will install, service, maintain and repair a wide range of industrial equipment, delivering first‑class support to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and test new industrial machinery.
• Perform routine servicing, maintenance and urgent repairs on site.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Travel to multiple customer locations, adhering to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background.
• Experience working in an automated manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Engineering qualification – minimum Level 3 or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and residence within a 40‑mile radius of Reading.
