Field Service Engineer – South London, North Kent & East Surrey

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high-quality repair and maintenance for a range of health-technology products across South London, North Kent and East Surrey. The role is remote, with travel to customers’ homes where you will support vulnerable and elderly users.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, repair and preventive maintenance on emergency lights, fire systems and other electronic health-care devices.
• Travel to client sites, work at heights or in confined dusty spaces as required.
• Document service activities and ensure compliance with health-and-safety standards.
• Provide clear communication and support to customers, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Manage time effectively to meet service schedules and deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar field-based role.
• Electrical/Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Full Category B UK driving licence (manual).
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Experience interacting with elderly or vulnerable customers.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Electrical/Electronic testing and troubleshooting.

• NVQ Level 2 electrical/electronic qualification.
• Category B driving licence.
