Field Service Engineer – Special Purpose Machinery

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of special‑purpose machinery based in Poole. The role involves servicing, calibrating and commissioning equipment at customer sites across the UK and Ireland as well as in‑house work at the company’s workshop.
Key responsibilities
- Service, calibrate and repair machines and equipment at customer locations and in the Poole workshop.
- Perform on‑site commissioning of machinery at client premises.
- Travel throughout the UK and Ireland to install, diagnose and fix equipment.
- Conduct diagnostics and repairs on machinery within the company facility.
Required profile
- Proven experience in service or maintenance of special‑purpose machinery.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Based within a commutable distance of Poole, Dorset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

What we offer
- Salary £34,000‑£38,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Monday‑Thursday 08:30‑17:15, Friday 08:30‑13:00.
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
