Field Service Engineer – Water Industry (Homebased)

About the role

This is a home‑based Field Service Engineer position supporting water‑purification customers across London, the South East and, when required, nationwide. You will install, service and repair pumps and water‑treatment equipment while providing electrical fault‑finding on control panels.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and repair water pumps and purification systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on control panels.
• Work with pipework, valves and pumping stations on customer sites.
• Travel to client locations across the South East and occasionally across the UK, including overnight stays.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with pumping stations, pipework and valves.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding skills on control panels.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Comfortable with occasional overnight stays.
• Based in or near North London, Watford, Enfield, Stevenage, Luton, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead or surrounding areas.
