Field Support Merchandiser – Stockport (Full‑time)

About the role

McCormick is seeking a full‑time Field Support Merchandiser to cover the Stockport area. The role works a standard 40‑hour week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility on start times and occasional weekend work at Christmas. Candidates must be prepared for occasional overnight stays away from home.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage store contact relationships with major supermarkets such as Tesco, ASDA and Morrisons.
• Use technology to maintain product availability and record execution performance in stores.
• Collect and deliver stock to stores daily to ensure 100 % shelf availability and compliance with store plans.
• Maintain store records, including inventory management.
• Provide support to other brands within the McCormick family when required.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential) and the right to work in the UK.
• Fluent English and a UK bank account.
• Ability to work unsupervised, manage time and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to stay away from home when required (accommodation and meals covered).
• Positive “can‑do” attitude, strong relationship‑building skills and enjoyment of independent road‑based work.
• Comfort with using technology and handling the physical aspects of the role.
• Previous merchandising, retail or hospitality experience is an asset.
