Field Technical Support Representative – Onsite (London)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Field Technical Support Representative to work onsite at a corporate office in London. The role involves providing hands‑on technical assistance to end‑users, managing device lifecycles and supporting high‑profile virtual events. It is a 12‑month contract with BPSS clearance required.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary face‑to‑face technical contact, resolving moderate to complex issues independently.
• Monitor, manage and resolve incidents and service requests using an ITSM tool such as ServiceNow, escalating when necessary.
• Pre‑stage, image, configure and physically install desktops, laptops and peripheral hardware.
• Troubleshoot mobile devices (iPhone, Android) and other desktop peripherals.
• Provide AV support for video‑conferencing, specifically facilitating Webex Events and Webinars.
• Maintain a highly accurate office‑wide hardware inventory within the ITSM system.
• Create, review and update Standard Operating Procedures and training content for the service desk and end‑users.

Required profile

• BPSS security clearance and single UK nationality (dual nationals not considered).
• Proven hands‑on experience resolving Windows‑based hardware and software issues.
• Experience with full‑lifecycle device deployment and imaging.
• Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to guide users calmly.
• Availability for a 12‑month onsite contract in London.
