FIG M&A Analyst/Associate – London

About the role

This position supports the growth of a European Financial Institutions Group (FIG) platform within a global full‑service investment bank in London. You will work on the origination and execution of FIG transactions across banks, insurance companies and fintech firms.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in originating and managing the execution of M&A and strategic advisory deals.
• Collaborate with senior bankers to deliver strategic advice to clients.
• Generate strategic ideas and contribute to pitch‑book development.
• Prepare discussion materials and presentation decks for client meetings.

Required profile

• Demonstrated high‑calibre FIG transaction experience in a reputable investment bank, boutique, or Big 4 M&A team.
• Client‑focused with the ability to work quickly and build effective relationships.
• Proven capability to develop, coach, and motivate junior team members.
• Ambitious, driven and commercially minded.
