FIG M&A Analyst/Associate – London

About the role

The investment bank is expanding its European Financial Institutions Group (FIG) platform in London. You will join a senior team to support the origination and execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions across banks, insurers and fintech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing, pitching and managing FIG deals from inception to completion.
• Work closely with senior bankers to deliver strategic advice and generate investment ideas.
• Prepare pitch books, financial models and discussion materials for client meetings.
• Support the execution of M&A transactions, including due‑diligence coordination and documentation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated FIG expertise with a track record of relevant transactions.
• Client‑focused mindset with the ability to work quickly and build strong relationships.
• Experience coaching and motivating junior team members.
• Ambitious, commercially driven and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
