Final Quality Controller – Temporary to Permanent

About the role

First Recruitment Services is seeking a Final Quality Controller for a well‑established manufacturing business in Eastbourne. The position is initially temporary with the prospect of becoming permanent, offering stable, long‑term employment for a detail‑oriented individual.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out final visual and functional inspections of finished products before packaging.
• Verify that items meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Identify, reject, and record any faulty or non‑conforming products.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to address recurring quality issues.
• Report defects, trends, and concerns to supervisors or quality leads.
• Ensure only approved products proceed to dispatch and keep the inspection area clean and safe.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role (preferred).
• Ability to follow written processes and standards.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining quality standards.
