About the role
This newly created Finance & Administration Manager position is based near Haywards Heath and will operate on‑site. The role combines finance, bookkeeping and general administration responsibilities within a construction environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain purchase and sales ledgers and perform bank reconciliations.
- Process CIS payments and prepare VAT returns.
- Support external accountants with management reporting.
- Oversee general administration, including HR tasks and customer interactions.
Required profile
- Previous experience in construction finance, understanding subcontractor payments and CIS.
- Confident bookkeeper capable of preparing accounts to trial balance.
- Ability to work autonomously with strong office management experience.
