Finance Analyst

About the role

The Finance Analyst will support the accounting and finance team of a PE‑backed international business based in London. You will analyse financial data, prepare reports and contribute to strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain detailed review of purchase invoice cost allocations to budgets, ensuring IFRS‑standard accounting (accruals, pre‑payments).
• Align dimensional cost attributes with budget and financial reporting structures.
• Perform accurate accrual‑based cost accounting, including accrual journal entries for period‑close reporting.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations for control accounts.
• Prepare variance analysis commentary for the Management Reporting Pack.
• Support external audit enquiries with evidence and explanations.
• Leverage global leading tools to improve finance operations efficiency.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
