Finance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Basingstoke office, working four days on‑site and one day from home. The role is ideal for a part‑qualified accountant who enjoys maintaining robust financial controls and delivering accurate management accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support month‑end close.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure they are up to date.
• Maintain strong financial controls and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Investigate and resolve balance‑sheet queries and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Produce financial analysis and reports to aid business decision‑making.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience.
• Experience in a management accounting or finance analyst role.
• Confident preparing balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong controls.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communicator able to build relationships across the business.
