Finance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to partner with senior technology leaders, improving financial governance and optimisation across our IT function. The role will be highly visible, influencing strategic investment decisions and driving financial discipline within a complex multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial governance across all IT expenditure, including cloud services, software, SaaS, infrastructure, third‑party suppliers and labour costs.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and cost classifications to improve reporting and accountability.
• Drive IT cost optimisation initiatives by identifying efficiencies, enhancing spend visibility and supporting vendor and contract optimisation.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities for the Technology function.
• Produce monthly financial reporting, variance analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic decision‑making.
• Create clear cost models providing visibility across platforms, services, vendors and business areas.
• Partner with technology leaders to strengthen financial understanding, improve budget ownership and promote commercial awareness.
• Support business cases and investment decisions with robust financial analysis and value tracking.
• Build strong relationships across Finance and Technology, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders.
• Significant experience in financial analysis or finance business partnering.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into practical business insight.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory capabilities.
