Finance and Operations Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Finance and Operations Assistant to join our fast‑growing team in the City of London. This hybrid position offers a blend of finance processing, administrative support and exposure to core business operations, ideal for someone eager to develop a long‑term career in finance.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and raise customer invoices.
• Manage credit control and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll administration and month‑end finance activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support across the business.
• Assist with compliance documentation and keep company records up to date.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Support operational process improvements and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• 12‑18 months experience in a finance, accounts or accounting support role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Good communication skills and confidence to build relationships.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
