Finance and Transformation Manager

About the role

This 18‑month fixed‑term position works closely with the Head of Finance to strengthen financial governance, improve systems and processes, and deliver deeper financial insight across Cycling UK. The role blends hands‑on finance work with people management and cross‑department collaboration, offering a high‑impact opportunity to lead transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Finance in day‑to‑day financial operations and decision‑making.
• Lead finance transformation projects, including the design and implementation of new financial systems.
• Enhance financial reporting, analysis and insight to drive strategic decisions.
• Develop and maintain robust financial governance frameworks and controls.
• Manage and develop a small finance team, fostering collaboration across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a finance manager or senior finance role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance transformation and system implementation projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to translate data into actionable insight.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
