Finance Assistant – 3-Month Temporary Role

About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to support the day‑to‑day finance function for a three‑month assignment. The role starts immediately and is based in Woking, South East England.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the finance inbox, responding to supplier and internal queries.
- Process supplier invoices, including verification, VAT coding and routing for approval.
- Handle expense claims, daily bank postings and assist with monthly bank reconciliations.
- Execute supplier and ad‑hoc payments while maintaining accurate finance records.
Required profile
- Current experience using accounting systems, preferably Sage 50 Accounts or a comparable platform.
- Strong purchase ledger experience and ability to process transactions in multiple currencies.
- Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
- AAT qualification or another relevant finance qualification.
