Finance Assistant

About the role

StormX Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established organisation in North Hertfordshire to hire an ambitious Finance Assistant. This fixed‑term position (8‑9 months) offers a hybrid working model – three days a week in the Stevenage office – and is ideal for recent graduates or anyone eager to start a career in finance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the finance team in preparing management accounts and meeting reporting deadlines.
• Produce daily and weekly accounting reports accurately and on time, highlighting any variances.
• Allocate supplier invoices to the appropriate monthly accruals.
• Assist with accurate financial reporting and data maintenance.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

What we offer
