Finance Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join a well‑established professional services practice in Glasgow. The role is temporary, full‑time and offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to support daily financial operations while developing your finance skills.

Key responsibilities

• Create client invoices using Rapport and transfer them to Sage.
• Process purchase orders and manage creditor relationships.
• Chase debtors, reconcile invoices and update debtor statuses.
• Maintain banking records, handle credit‑card expenses and reconcile weekly statements.
• Provide support for finance‑related queries, audit preparation and policy updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year experience supporting finance functions in a practice or professional setting.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Sage.
• Experience with invoicing, debtor management and bank reconciliations.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
