Finance Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to support the in‑house financial operations of a leading digital media solutions provider. You will join a friendly, collaborative team in East Grinstead and help ensure accurate financial records and smooth day‑to‑day finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial transactions and maintain records using Xero.
• Prepare management accounts, P&L reports and conduct financial analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning.
• Reconcile bank, supplier and customer accounts.
• Process payroll and keep employee records up to date.
• Produce financial reports with advanced Excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor company budgets and manage purchase and sales ledgers, invoices and payments.
• Carry out general administration tasks for the finance function as needed.

Required profile

• Bookkeeping or accounts experience.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Xero accounting software.
• Microsoft Excel (advanced).
