Finance Assistant

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career finance professional to join a growing specialist in industrial robotics and automation. You will support the day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial information while working closely with the wider finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase and sales invoices.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support credit control and follow up outstanding payments.
• Process and reconcile supplier statements.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Enter and maintain data in QuickBooks.
• Support payment runs and general transaction processing.
• Assist with expense processing and administration.
• Help prepare financial information and reports for management.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and colleagues on finance queries.

Required profile

• 1–2 years’ experience in an accounts, finance or similar commercial role, or a relevant educational background.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence with Microsoft Excel and standard office applications.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• QuickBooks experience is advantageous but not essential.
