Finance Assistant – Temporary to Permanent

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our friendly finance team in Chester on a temporary assignment that could become permanent. This full‑time, office‑based role offers a great chance to develop your finance skills within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Raise sales invoices and support the accounts receivable process.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Handle finance queries from suppliers and customers.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Provide ad‑hoc finance and administrative support to the wider team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role.
• Exposure to Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Salary of £28,000 per annum (pro rata).
