Finance Associate – Real Estate Lending

About the role

The Finance Associate will support a specialist lender in the real‑estate sector, delivering accurate financial reporting, management accounting and tax compliance. Working closely with senior leaders, the role also drives process improvements and automation to enhance business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and own month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and lead the external audit process.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management.
• Oversee VAT and Corporation Tax compliance with evolving regulations.
• Collaborate on process‑improvement and automation projects.
• Maintain strong financial controls across the organisation.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with broad accounting knowledge.
• Experience in banking, asset management or lending is preferred.
• Proficient Excel skills; financial modelling is a plus.
• Strong communication and proactive problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive efficiency.
