Finance Business Partner (12-Month Fixed-Term)

About the role

Our client, a leading FMCG organisation, is looking for a commercially‑focused Finance Business Partner to join the finance team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will act as a trusted finance advisor, partnering with operational and project teams to provide insight, challenge and support that drives business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational and project stakeholders, delivering financial support, challenge and commercial insight.
• Build strong relationships across the business and become the go‑to finance contact for key initiatives.
• Prepare accurate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for multiple projects.
• Monitor project spend, analyse variances and recommend actions to improve performance.
• Produce insightful financial reports to aid decision‑making.
• Strengthen financial governance, controls and approval processes for project activity.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and work with stakeholders on mitigation plans.
• Support business cases and investment decisions with robust financial analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, planning and financial processes.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA).
• Experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance, management accounting or project accounting.
• Excellent stakeholder management with confidence to influence and challenge.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.
