Finance Business Partner – Finance Transformation

About the role

Our client is embarking on an ambitious finance transformation programme and seeks a Finance Business Partner to lead the change while ensuring day‑to‑day finance operations run smoothly. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will redesign processes, support system upgrades and maintain high‑quality financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive review of end‑to‑end finance processes, simplifying and standardising where possible.
• Manage the transition to fuller use of existing finance systems, including implementation support and user acceptance testing.
• Improve financial controls, reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets and eliminate single points of failure.
• Deliver BAU finance activities such as monthly management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations and journal preparation with enhanced accuracy and turnaround.
• Document robust finance procedures and create clear process maps to embed long‑term change.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong management accounting experience.
• Proven track record of delivering finance transformation and managing systems change.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and build relationships quickly.

Required skills

• Finance systems implementation and optimisation.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of finance applications.
