Finance Business Partner

About the role

This is a hands‑on finance position at the core of a fast‑moving, technology‑driven company developing electric propulsion solutions. You will work side‑by‑side with engineering and programme teams, providing financial insight that directly influences commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse actuals versus budget for individual programmes.
• Conduct data analysis and compare performance across multiple workstreams.
• Lead the year‑end budgeting and quarterly re‑forecasting processes.
• Develop tools to track and report cost and income streams.
• Provide timely financial reporting for programme and business reviews.
• Collaborate with sales and programme teams to drive revenue milestone delivery.
• Build strong relationships across the business.

Required profile

• Business partnering experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Understanding of engineering programmes and tracking.
• Strong interpersonal skills with non‑finance stakeholders.
• Experience in forecasting and re‑forecasting.
• Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Power BI or similar planning/analysis tools (desirable).
