Finance Business Partner

About the role

This permanent Finance Business Partner position supports a well‑known charity from a home‑based office, with occasional travel throughout the year. You will provide high‑quality financial data, analysis and budgeting tools to help managers make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full financial planning cycle, including annual budgeting, medium‑term strategy and quarterly rolling forecasts.
• Produce regular and ad‑hoc financial reports, transforming raw data into actionable insights and identifying trends.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure resources and plans are aligned.
• Analyse variances, interpret financial results and highlight areas for performance improvement.
• Prepare statutory statistical returns and benchmark results against sector and competitor data.

Required profile

• Fully qualified finance professional (CCAB).
• Proven experience in business partnering within a charity or other regulated sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Willingness to work remotely while undertaking occasional travel.
