Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our expanding Facilities Management business in Croydon. In this hybrid, permanent position you will partner with operational teams to provide financial insight that drives performance across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and review monthly management accounts for a portfolio of contracts.
• Deliver commercial financial reporting and analysis to operational stakeholders.
• Own key balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy.
• Partner with operational teams to explain monthly performance and support decision‑making.
• Assist with client invoicing, contract reporting and month‑end processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting, controls and efficiency.
• Analyse revenue, costs and contract performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting across business areas.
• Prepare financial packs for stakeholder review and commercial decisions.
• Contribute to finance transformation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in Management Accounts, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
• Previous role as a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner.
• Exposure to a multi‑site, contract‑led or service‑based environment (advantageous).
• Comfort managing high‑volume reporting, reconciliations, invoicing and budgeting.
• Strong commercial awareness with confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
