Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are supporting a growing education organisation that is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work in a hybrid model (up to two days remote) and play a key part in delivering accurate financial information and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial reports.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and long‑term financial planning.
• Provide financial advice and business partnering support to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements and procurement procedures.
• Undertake ad‑hoc financial duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Experience with month‑end processes and a solid understanding of double‑entry bookkeeping.
• AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in the education sector, payroll knowledge or Sage experience is advantageous but not essential.
