Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW) is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its Milton Keynes team on a permanent basis. You will act as a strategic partner to a portfolio of business units, using financial and non‑financial insights to influence decision‑making and drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy, integrity and compliance of statutory and management reporting.
• Lead the full budgeting and forecasting cycle for the allocated departments.
• Support and challenge senior management to align budgets and forecasts with the organisation’s strategy.
• Collaborate with FP&A managers to build scalable, driver‑based income and cost models.
• Work with the Head of FP&A to continuously improve FP&A processes, tools and systems.
• Hire, train and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Relevant accountancy qualification (CCAB or CIMA).
• Extensive experience in financial management or planning, including budgeting and forecasting in a high‑growth, multinational environment.
• Strong influencing and networking skills across finance and operational teams.
• Experience with foreign‑exchange translation and working in diverse cultural settings.
