Finance Business Partner - Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a fast‑growing specialist events business in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support financial performance across a portfolio of projects spanning the UK, the Middle East and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare Cost‑to‑Complete reports and ensure accurate profit recognition.
• Calculate costs, benefits and cash flows with robust methodology.
• Develop and refine a standardised project costing model.
• Manage capital budgets and track expenditure against approvals.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and process monthly depreciation.
• Provide effective financial partnering to business operations.
• Deliver timely, value‑adding reporting to support commercial decisions.
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Excellent communication and business partnering abilities.
• Experience in project accounting or a project‑based environment.
