Finance Business Partner – Revenue & Growth

About the role

Be the finance partner to FlightStory’s revenue teams across Media, Community and Product. Turn numbers into clear recommendations, challenge revenue owners constructively, and help drive change.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue forecasting and analysis, turning variances into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain creator and brand P&L statements and present monthly performance packs.
• Partner with Commercial and Group Business Directors on pricing, deal structures and growth opportunities.
• Simplify pipeline management with Sales and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Run month‑end revenue close using automation and AI to enhance processes.
• Help design commission structures and quarterly targets that motivate Sales.
• Build business cases for new revenue streams and present clear recommendations to the executive team.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 0–2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience partnering with commercial or revenue‑generating teams, preferably in media, agency, start‑up or high‑growth environments.
• Strong commercial curiosity, sound judgement and high emotional intelligence.

Required skills

• Financial modelling and advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
• Ability to explain complex numbers simply to senior stakeholders.
• Experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
• Familiarity with data or BI tools.
