Finance Business Partner – Technical Focus

About the role

This Finance Business Partner role goes beyond traditional partnering, supporting financial reporting, external audit and process improvement during a period of growth. Working closely with senior leaders, you will help shape strategy, strengthen controls and drive efficiency through digital and process innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Partner with budget holders to develop forecasts and budgets aligned with strategic goals.
• Deliver financial modelling and scenario planning for business cases and investment decisions.
• Identify cost‑efficiency opportunities and drive process improvements across departments.
• Support the development of KPIs and performance dashboards to enhance financial visibility.
• Collaborate with finance and non‑finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Contribute to year‑end processes and liaise with external auditors as required.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and influence stakeholders.
• Proven experience in management accounting, business partnering or FP&A.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to challenge senior leaders.
• Proactive, adaptable and solutions‑focused mindset.
