Finance Business Support Assistant (2‑month temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Business Support Assistant to support our Finance Business Partner on a temporary two‑month contract. The role will help maintain robust controls around pricing, promotions and margin data, ensuring accurate financial information for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse profitability by channel, customer and SKU.
• Administer and process price changes, including annual reviews and ad‑hoc updates.
• Manage day‑to‑day credit note processes and suggest improvements.
• Support New Product Development financial assessments and gate approvals.
• Calculate and reconcile customer rebates and overriders.
• Prepare regular reports on pricing, rebates and other commercial metrics.
• Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to meet business objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in finance, accounting or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial finance or accounting role.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles such as accruals, reconciliations and P&L.
• Experience in a fast‑paced FMCG environment is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial software or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
