Finance Director – SaaS (Remote, UK)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function for a fast‑growing SaaS business within the software and telco technology sector. Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, you will provide strategic financial leadership, support commercial growth and ensure robust governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to shape strategy, budgets and financial forecasts.
• Produce accurate monthly and quarterly reports in line with IFRS and group requirements.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and financial planning, delivering commercial insight.
• Develop and enhance financial controls, reporting processes and internal governance frameworks.
• Drive improvements in profitability, cash flow and operational efficiency.
• Oversee risk management, audit coordination and compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory obligations.
• Support commercial activities by reviewing contracts, bids and business agreements.
• Lead financial due diligence and assist in commercial negotiations.
• Manage procurement, supplier contracts and customer renewal processes.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering succession planning.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in SaaS or technology.
• UK residency with ability to travel up to 25%.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and team‑development skills.
