Finance Integration Assistant Accountant

About the role

Join IVC Evidensia’s finance team as a Finance Integration Assistant Accountant, supporting the smooth financial integration of newly acquired UK veterinary clinics. You will work closely with the Integration Accountant and various finance functions to ensure a rapid and accurate transition into the group’s reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in virtual finance integration meetings before and after acquisitions.
• Complete administrative tasks on schedule, including notifying suppliers of address and bank‑detail changes.
• Obtain lease agreements and coordinate with the Group Lease team.
• Transfer bank direct debits and standing orders, collaborating with Group Treasury.
• Facilitate payroll and pension handovers by liaising with the Payroll team.
• Prepare and submit forms for VAT de‑registration and inclusion in the UK VAT group.
• Support additional financial projects and ad‑hoc duties as required.
• Build relationships with business support managers and attend initial finance meetings.
• Answer queries from finance and non‑finance teams regarding newly acquired businesses.
• Document handovers to BAU leaders and capture lessons learned for future acquisitions.

Required profile

• Currently studying for an AAT or other accounting qualification.
• Experience working with international teams or businesses.
• Excellent command of English.
• Background in assistant management accounting roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results quickly.
• Comfortable operating in an international environment with senior stakeholders.
