Finance Manager - 18 Month FTC

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global manufacturing company to appoint a Finance Manager on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. The successful candidate will own the site finance function, working closely with the Financial Controller and General Manager to drive performance and provide insight across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial reporting processes.
• Produce KPI dashboards and performance analysis for senior leadership.
• Provide cost, profitability and product‑level insight to support decision‑making.
• Maintain and improve financial controls, ERP data integrity and month‑end close procedures.
• Support audits, statutory reporting and compliance activities.
• Partner with operational teams to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
• Track capital expenditure projects and manage cash‑flow initiatives.

Required profile

• ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (preferred).
• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, analytical and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Extensive experience with ERP systems.
