Finance Manager (18‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract)

About the role

We are partnering with a respected organisation in Crewe that is experiencing rapid growth. As Finance Manager on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract, you will lead a small finance team, own month‑end reporting, and work closely with senior stakeholders to drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a small finance team.
• Oversee monthly management reporting and management information packs.
• Manage statutory, regulatory and IFRS reporting.
• Coordinate year‑end processes and external audits.
• Produce government and stakeholder reports.
• Drive financial control and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage relationships with auditors and outsourced service providers.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with relevant experience.
• Strong statutory reporting and IFRS knowledge.
• Previous experience managing a finance team.
• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
