Finance Manager (AI focus) – 12-month Fixed-Term

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position is for a Finance Manager with an AI focus, joining a fast‑growing, PE‑backed consumer tech business in London. Working hybrid (two days onsite), you will own the month‑end close for one brand while driving AI‑enabled automation across finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end month‑end close, delivering accurate, insight‑led management accounts for a designated brand.
• Design, build and implement AI‑driven workflows using Claude and other automation tools to automate reconciliations, accruals and reporting packs.
• Develop “agentic” finance processes that reduce manual effort in month‑end, cash‑flow and reporting cycles.
• Identify and execute automation opportunities by integrating AI platforms with existing finance systems and data sources.
• Manage and develop a qualified accountant within the team.
• Champion the broader finance AI transformation agenda across the group.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong management accounting and month‑end ownership experience.
• Proven experience or demonstrable curiosity in using AI or automation tools to improve finance processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence non‑finance teams.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior staff.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, change‑oriented environment, preferably within a high‑growth tech or PE‑backed business.
