Finance Manager (AI‑Native) – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing VC‑backed SaaS business that builds AI‑driven workflow automation for large enterprises. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be the sole finance professional below the CFO level, responsible for turning an already‑live AI‑native finance stack into a high‑performance engine.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end month‑end close and automate the process to achieve a one‑week close.
• Manage and evolve the AI‑native ERP (Light), defining the systems roadmap and driving automation‑first ways of working.
• Build and maintain a live, automated daily cash position for UK and US entities with a trusted rolling forecast.
• Run the full quote‑to‑cash pipeline from HubSpot through invoicing, deferred revenue recognition and collections, keeping ARR continuously reconciled.
• Develop the FP&A layer – rolling forecasts, scenario modelling and unit‑economics analysis for executive and board decisions.
• Partner with engineering to monitor cloud, inference and model costs, translating technical spend into margin insights.
• Own sales compensation analytics, commission calculations and act as gatekeeper for deal economics.
• Deploy the company’s AI Digital Workers into finance workflows such as commission calculation and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Coordinate with external accountants for statutory sign‑off and audit support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance operations within a high‑growth SaaS or technology environment.
• Track record of automating finance processes and managing ERP systems.
• Ability to work autonomously, influence cross‑functional teams and act as a commercial partner to engineering.
• Comfort with board‑level reporting and supporting fundraising activities.
