Finance Manager – Birmingham

About the role
This permanent Finance Manager position is based in Aston, West Midlands, supporting a well‑established business with strong growth ambitions. You will own the finance function, working closely with senior leadership to ensure accurate reporting, robust controls, and strategic financial insight.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll activities.
- Partner with operational teams across the business to provide financial insight.
- Monitor cash flow and support financial planning.
- Review balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls.
- Support year‑end accounts and audit processes.
- Drive improvements to finance systems and reporting processes.
Required profile
- Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent experience.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with autonomy and responsibility.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
