Finance Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation in the Warrington area as a Finance Manager. Reporting into senior leadership, you will oversee day‑to‑day finance operations, ensure robust financial controls and provide accurate reporting across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day finance function, delivering accurate and timely financial reports.
• Oversee payroll, purchase ledger, reconciliations, cash‑flow and month‑end processes.
• Produce management information and support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Maintain strong financial controls, compliance procedures and audit readiness.
• Support and develop finance team members while driving process improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar finance leadership role.
• Strong understanding of month‑end processes, payroll, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Good Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• AAT Level 4, part‑qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
